TECHNICAL OFFICER, FIELD ASSISTANTS AND ATTENDANT ON PURELY CONTRACT BASIS FOR MANNING STATIC SENSOR
(PHASE-I) INSTALLED AT LIGHTHOUSES
The Director, Directorate of Lighthouses & Lightships, Cochin invites application for the engaging the following Professionals on purely contract basis for Static Sensor (Phase-I) installed in Lighthouse initially for a period of one yearand which may be extended upto a maximum period of 5 years.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
I. TECHNICAL OFFICER
(i) Retired departmental Technical officers with at least 5 years of service in Group ‘A’ post with Grade pay of Rs.5,400/-
OR
(ii) Retired departmental Technical officers with at least 5 years of service in Group ‘A’post/fresh candidates having the following qualification and experience:-
(a) Qualification :-
Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics Engineering/Electronics and
Communication Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.
(b) Experience:-
Five years experience in required field domain.
II. FIELD ASSISTANT
(i) Retired departmental Technical officials (ie. Technicians, Junior Engineers, Navigational Assistant Grade-III/Grade-II/Grade-I, Senior Radio Technicians, Radio Technicians etc) with at least 2 years of service in Grade Pay of Rs.2,400/- and above.
OR
(ii) Retired Technical personals with Grade Pay of Rs.2,400/- and above/fresh candidates:-
(a) Qualification:-
Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Electronics and Communication or Electrical and
Electronics from an institution recognised by Central government or State Government.
III. ATTENDANT
(i) Retired departmental Lighthouse Attendants
OR
(ii) Retired Government employees with Grade Pay of Rs.1,800/- and above/Fresh candidates having the following qualifications:-
(a) Qualification:-
Matriculation or equivalent pass or ITI pass in the trade of Electrician or
Electronics Mechanic or Radio and Television Mechanic recognised by
National Council of Vocational Training or State Council Vocational Training.
AGE LIMIT
The age limit for persons to be outsourced from open market shall be between 18 to 40 years and maximum age limit for retired government officials shall be 65 years.
