Human Area Networking is a technology/Wireless Network, which uses the surface of the human body as a safe, high speed network transmission path. RedTacton is a technology that bridges the last networking gap, creating the HAN – Human Area Network, connecting the last meter. Currently, RedTacton is gearing up to compete with Bluetooth, Zigbee, IrDA (infrared data association), UWB (ultra wide band), and other wireless communication forms. Red Tacton use the electric fields generated by the human body as medium for transmitting the data. Communication is possible using any body surfaces, such as hands, fingers, arms, face, legs or torso. HAN in short is interconnection of information technology devices within the range of an individual person. Overall, it is broadband and interactive and works with any media.
