Electric Power Systems comprise the theory and methods for generation, transmission, distribution and consumption of electric energy. Scope of the area comprises generation, transmission, distribution and processing of electrical energy, including renewable and sustainable energy sources and their integration within the modern electrical grid and community. Research works at Rapid Techs, aims at developing methods and models to be used in analysis, planning, dynamic stability and operation of electric power systems. We are inspired by problems and phenomena occurring in real systems. We are the leaders in Power System and Electrical Machines. Our research thrust includes,
- Power system dynamics and control
- Smart-grid applications
- System reliability
- Voltage security
- Electric machines and power electronic systems
- Renewable energy sources
We offer training on Power Systems, Wind&Solar Power Systems, FACTS and HVDC in Power Systems. We also offer Thesis projects for M Tech , B Tech Engineering students across Kerala
